Sustainable Innovation Student Competition (SISC)

Partners: British Council and CAMCO
Launched: June 5th 2009.
Designed to encourage students to develop imaginative proposals for sustainable solutions to alleviate climate change. The competition is open to university students in throughout China.

Key statistics and information:

 Over 100,000 page views a month since the launch of the program, with students forming teams and subscribing online (It's a Chinese language only site).

 The competition has generated interest from over 280 cities in China, and 30 different countries

A short list of candidates will be invited to a final "Dragon's Den" style reality TV show that will be screened on China Central Television in October 2009, with prizes for the finalists.
