51Sim Policy
Leading change through action
51Sim looks to contribute and lead in areas of international policy and best practice linked with climate change and sustainability. We seek to promote the uptake of innovative ideas that often require the combined participation of government, NGOs, the private sector and media to enable large-scale roll-out and long term results.
Our ability to pioneer concepts to drive change in this space has led to two of our ideas - The Green Car Rating System and the Sustainable Innovation Student Competition (SISC) being endorsed by the Clinton Global Initiative.
| Co-founder Daniel Foa spends most of his time either in meetings developing our projects or in long internal brain-storming team sessions devising new approaches to current environmental challenges, so it was a highlight for him and the whole of the team to see him up on stage with Bill Clinton in November 2008 to receive the award on behalf of the team. |

Tender Projects
As well as coming-up with concepts to engender change we also look to effectively manage sustainable projects that we believe to be of value for communities at grass roots level. 51Sim participates in tender projects linked with Sustainable energy and poverty alleviation.
In China 51Sim is the bridge between international organisations, governments and NGOs and their Chinese equivalent: We have established relationships with the Afforestation Department of China, the provincial government of Shan Xi and the district of Chaoyang.
